' DRAWN! '

An old friend IM'd me today to let me know
that I had just gotten a 'plug' on the 'Drawn' blog!...
WOW, very flattering stuff!...
I really dig that blog, and visit it often for inspiration... :)

BULLY-of-doom

I've had these 'bully' characters in my head for a looooong time now...
I initially had a little story brewin' (for a short) that I had wanted to pitch around...
But I realized it's pretty twisted, and kinda pro-bully... haha -but in a totally FUNNY way, seriously!
:)
Anyhow, every time I sit down to draw these guys, I have a good time!... Maybe that speaks to
the project as something worth doing, just for laughs?!... It's high-time I get a short DONE!...
hmmmmmm...
Anyway, got more of the gang coming, and some funny little doodles of 'atomic wedgies,' 'nuggies' and of course, MORE stolen lunch money! haha ...and MAYBE a poor little nerd stuffed in a locker?... Wow, I'm pretty sick. ;)

Helene's blog debut! :)

I've been meaning to post some of my wife's work up here
for a WHILE now... she graduated from art school 8 years ago, but she is still one HELL of a painter, and she's just starting to turn out a WHOLE new body of work!
In one of her summer classes at U Arts recently, she had an assignment to basically emulate
one of her favorite paintings... A tough assignment, but she did such a beautiful job that I wanted to share it with all of my blog pals! :)
And I'll be sure to post alot more of her work here, until she finally gets her own blog goin!'
